Monte Oliveto Project is a tribute to the geometric arts, a 136 cm intersection of history and design. In each foulard, silk and cotton intertwine, giving life to Renaissance narratives about perfection. At the heart of OFFICINE 904’s philosophy, where design is timeless, the project reiterates two different pasts in the present. The first “past” dates back to the XVI century, when the Sienese Abbey of Monte Oliveto was covered by striking geometric triumphs. The second is a more recent “past”, when OFFICINE 904’s flair reproduced them on paper. Today, those antique Sienese frescoes adorn a unique accessory. Handcrafted in Como, Monte Oliveto Project scarves iconize artisan research and proportions’ elegance, making every outfit memorable.
